JazzRock Café 17 september – Tristan

De muziek van Tristan kan het beste omschreven worden als “feel-good vintage acid jazz music” met de energie, vibe en het geluid van nu, uitgevoerd door een aantal van de beste pop/jazz muzikanten uit Europa. Funky gitaren, Fender Rhodes en synth sounds en een strakke ritmesectie die al een hele lange tijd samenspeelt creëren een te gekke jaren zeventig sound.

Tristan doet denken aan bands als Tower of Power, Snarky Puppy en klassieke acid jazz acts zoals Incognito en de Brand New Heavies. Bij hen allen draait het om de “high-energy grooves”. Onlangs verscheen er nieuw werk van de band in de vorm van het album Seven en daar hoor je natuurlijk tijdens de komende editie van het JazzRock Café in Hengelo lekker veel van!
