Paul Lamoureux (Canada) - saxophone                    

Saxophonist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, producer, songwriter and teacher, Paul Lamoureux was born in Edmonton. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in music from North Texas State University, and a diploma in Performing Arts from Grant MacEwan College. Paul has most recently performed with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas ("O" at the Bellagio). Other performing credits include the Ice Capades, and Broadway musicals like Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. He has accompanied Robert Goulet, Mickey Rooney, and Red Skelton and many others. Paul toured Europe with the New York Harlem Opera Ensemble, and played 2 seasons at Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee. Paul toured North America with Grammy-nominated Christian rock recording artists "DeGarmo & Key". He was Musical Director of CBC French radio's Gala Albertain de la Chanson for 8 years and was Musical Director for Theatre Francais de Toronto's musical retrospective "Et si on chantait…" Paul has taught at the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music and Ryerson University in Toronto. From 2003 to 2008, Paul was an Instructor of Music Technology at the University of Guelph. Paul's most recent CD is entitled "Decaf Life". It encourages people to lead a more stress-free life.
